Local 72-147 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada presently, represent more than 1,400 professional musicians engaged as orchestra musicians, recording musicians, headliner artists, and as freelance casual and club-date musicians. We promote and assist our members across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Important member benefits include our quarterly newsletter, The Dallas Fort Worth Musician, Musicians Federal Credit Union , assistance in the collection of local and traveling claims, Musicians’ Clinic, low-cost equipment insurance, job referral, audition announcements, contract forms, membership directories, and much more.
