Eric Bailey has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Henderson State University where he graduated with honors and a Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). He is the author of The Eric Bailey Bagpipe Method published by Neil Kjos Publishing Company in their Lessons with the Artist Series.

He has performed professionally for over 40 years and has played in Mexico, Panama, The Caribbean, Cuba and throughout the Continental United States.

Mr. Bailey has performed on flute, saxophone, or bagpipe with entertainers such as: Bob Hope, Meredith Wilson, Van Cliburn, Liberace and many more. He regularly appears as strolling bagpiper/ Celtic musician at the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. A represent list of his solo work includes performances on bagpipe for numerous corporate events, private parties, and hundreds of weddings and funerals.

Eric Bailey is equally at home performing on Boehm flute, Celtic flute, Celtic whistle, saxophone and bagpipe.
