Guitarist and composer James Gabriano is an artist who plays his instrument with the intensity
of an August afternoon in Texas. As a guest at one of his live performances, you are quickly
drawn to his "flamenco jazz" style. The Latin rhythms and fiery guitar make you want to get up,
stomp your heels, and click your castanets. Just catch his rendition of "Bambaleo" by the Gipsy
Kings and you will feel the meaning. The band has been performing regularly around the metroplex.
Original from Toronto, Canada, James took classical guitar lessons early in his life. After settling in Dallas, Texas, James discovered the University of North Texas where he focused on classical and jazz master classes. James formed his band at UNT, which is famous for it's jazz lab bands and many great artists. The friendships he established at UNT are the foundation for the outstanding group of artists that he assembles for his live performances.
