PETITION TO TEXAS BALLET THEATER
As many of you know the Texas Ballet Theater has continued to perform without employing orchestra musicians in the pit at both Bass Hall in Fort Worth, the Winspear Opera House in Dallas and other venues in our area. This has gone on for 3 years now, despite the Ballet management’s claim that they would return to the use of a live orchestra 2 years ago. Vice-President Karen Schnackenberg has started an online petition asking the TBT to return to the high quality performances they once enjoyed by employing real live professional musicians.
